In
your effort to improve the condition, you are worsening the situation. You are
destroying lives by being a customer to the begging industry. Every coin which
you give encourages more beggars in the society. In fact, beggars on an average
earn almost as much as Engineering Student in India from 25k per month to some
rich beggars making lakhs per month. It's the get rich quick scheme which is
destroying lives of many, many people.
Most of these children who are begging aren't doing so because they have to,
rather because they are made to. They have been trained to beg by different
people who have control on their lives: child traffickers on one extreme to
their parents on the other.
Begging woman with newborns feed their children drugs so that they can be kept in control while they can do their earning. These children turn out to be drug addicts and they make their career in begging too.
